Have you seen our website for the first time and never heard about the FreeRun Race? Well, you’ve come to the right place – we’ll try to explain it.

FreeRun is a traditional charity race, which is held at the beginning of the summer at Vysocina Highlands. The race is based on 4 main aspects – society, movement, nature and beneficence. The main goal is to get together a group of people and together enjoy a summer afternoon doing sport. Everyone can choose their discipline – running, biking or walking. Two 5 kilometre circuits are prepared, so the minimum event distance is 5 km and it can get up to 20 km. The track encompasses beautiful countryside, where you can absorb plenty of energy. The last but not least is beneficence – with the money raised going to people, who need it.

This year, we’re helping a 10-year-old girl called Nikolka, who was born with a genetic disorder that makes her life very limited. Her disorder,  cystic fibrosis (CF), is unfortunately incurable. CF affects the lungs, which despite all available care, are gradually inflamed by mucus and are weakened by frequent infections against which they cannot defend themselves. The other affected organ is also the pancreas. A healthy human pancreas produces enzymes that help to digest food. But as it does not work since she was a baby, it has to replace the enzymes artificially. Swallowing a lot of pills and vitamins, inhalation, frequent cough, stays in the hospital and all the disinfection of the surroundings is her bread and butter.

Let’s help Nikolka together coming to our traditional charity race or by contributing to a voluntary collection. The post can be sent to 1006995007/2700 with the note “cefacek”.
